The new campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Busienss (link:www.wu.ac.at) has been opend on October 3, 2013. The by internationally renowned architects designed the campus was built based on a “green building” concept. It represents an important step in the university’s development, and a further milestone toward reaching its goal of further improving its top position among European business schools.
Located between two subway stations, the new campus is conveniently accessible by public transportation. The new location will be a university campus that offers both students and faculty ideal conditions for teaching and research. 25,000 students and 1,500 teachers, researchers and administrative staff are working on Campus WU.

How to get to Vienna
If you are travelling to Vienna by plane, you will arrive either at Vienna International Airport in Schwechat.
• Arrival by plane (Vienna International Airport, Austria)
To get from Vienna International Airport to the city centre, you can take one of the following means of transportation:
o The City Airport Train (CAT) (11€)
leaves every half hour from the airport to the city centre (subway station Landstraße/Wien Mitte). The trip takes 16 minutes.
o Airport Express busses (8€)
from the Vienna Airport Lines connect the Vienna International Airport and the city centre (station Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz)
- o The S7 Schnellbahn (S-Bahn) (4.20€) from the airport to the city centre. Take the train towards Wien Mitte. Please make sure to board a train heading for Wolfsthal or Flughafen, when goint to the airport.

How to reach WU
• By public transportation
The Campus WU is located between the two U2 subway stations Messe (west entrance: WU Executive Academy, Administration, Department Buildings 3 and 4, Library & Learning Center) and Krieau (east entrance: Teaching Center, Student Center, Department Buildings 1 and 2, Library & Learning Center). The conference venue is in TC and can be reached within 5 minutes from the U2 subway station Krieau.
• By car
The underground parking garage is located under the main boulevard running through the campus. The entrance to the garage is on Trabrennstraße. The garage has 411 parking places; 180 places are for short-term parking, the rest is reserved for long-term pass holders. There are four exits to the campus from the garage. All exits lead to the outside, so that visitors can enter all campus buildings from their main entrances on the ground floor.
• By taxi
Some companies offer the transfer from Airport to anywhere in Vienna with a fixed rate. It will be cheaper than a regular Taxi at the Airport.
